Tetul/ Imlee Achar is an easy
recipe for a finger licking pickle. It is sweet, sour and spicy. It is
delicious by itself, especially on a lonely rainy afternoon .However, it is
also served with samosa, shingaras ,pakoda, aloo paratha or with rice and curry.
Ingredients
- 250g ripe Imlee ( tamarind)
- water as needed
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 500 g of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of garlic paste
- 1 cup of mustard oil
- 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder
